**Anita Logero Billate (1947–2024)**

Anita Logero Billate passed away peacefully at her home in Vacaville, California, at the age of 77, under the devoted care of her son, David J. Gill. His love and dedication ensured her final years were as comfortable and fulfilling as possible, providing care no facility could match.

Anita was born in 1947 to the late Manuel and Meniciana Billate in the Philippines. She spent her childhood in Manila, growing up in a lively household with her siblings: "Totoy" Manuel Jr., "Nene" Ermelinda, "Boy" Mauro, "Rod" Rodrigo, "Ning Ning" Corazon, "Terry" Sotera, "Frankie" Francisco, and "Ninoy" Eduardo.

In her youth, Anita immersed herself in the vibrant Philippine showbiz scene, where she was affectionately known as "Rocky." She worked closely with iconic figures such as Nora Aunor and Maria Lourdes Jimenez Carvajal (better known as Inday Badiday) and led "The Lucky 12," a super fan club devoted to the beloved "Guy & Pip" love team.

In the late 1970s, Anita married an American and immigrated to the United States. Settling in Vallejo, California, she devoted herself to raising her sons, David Joseph and Daniel, throughout the 1980s and 1990s. A dedicated and loving mother, Anita was a constant source of support, providing rides to school, guiding her children with care, and instilling strong values to keep them on the right path.

In her later years, Anita worked tirelessly as a food service worker in a care home for the elderly, bringing her compassion and energy to her work. She also embraced her passions, becoming an avid ballroom dancer and a talented singer. Her love for performing even led her to sing at the Solano County Fair during the summer months. Wherever she went, Anita's infectious laugh and vibrant personality made her the heart of every gathering.

Above all, Anita was a woman of deep faith. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, she found strength and purpose in her relationship with her Lord and Savior. She has now found eternal peace in His presence.

Anita is survived by her brother, Rod Billate, and sisters Corazon Roque and Sotera Victorio, all residing in the Philippines; her sons, David Joseph Gill (wife Cindy) of Vacaville, California, and Daniel David Gill (wife Allegra Stephens) of Vallejo, California; as well as her three cherished grandchildren: Jasper, Vanessa, and Kaylie.

Anita's legacy of love, laughter, and faith lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
