Anthony "Tony" Malone was born February 23, 1956 to Charlie and Catherine Malone in England.

As a military child, Tony lived all over the world. After leaving England, his family moved to New Hampshire and then to Libya. Additionally, the family lived in Indiana then Victorville, California. Lastly, the family was sent to Japan where Tony excelled at sports to include football, basketball and track.

After graduating high school in Japan and returning to the States, Tony met Margaret who was enlisted in the Air Force. The two married and were stationed in Abilene, Texas, where their two daughters, Donna and Melinda were born.

The family's next military assignment took them to the Philippines, and later to Northern California, first at Mather Air Force Base then at Travis.

Tony joined the Department of Corrections and became an officer at San Quentin where he served for more than 25 years.

Donna and Melinda will remember their dad as a Christian, an amazing father, and an outstanding grandfather to his three grandchildren - Amani, Jayla and Kingston.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret and parents, Charlie & Catherine. He is survived by his siblings, Donna, Charlie, Greg & Ronald; his children Donna & Melinda; and grandchildren, Amani, Jayla & Kingston.

A Funeral Service will be held for Anthony Malone on February 18, 2026 at 11:30 A.M. at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home; 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, California.

A Graveside Service to follow on February 18, 2026 at 1:15 P.M. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery; 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, California
