Bethie loved life and she was easily loved by everyone who knew her.

Beth Ann Erickson "Bethie" passed peacefully with family on Sept 9th 2026. Her husband Ron preceded her in 2020. She leaves her daughter Tonya who resides in Vacaville with her husband Ethan Roschen and daughters Annie, Lila and Brooke, and her daughter Dawn who lives in Knoxville TN with her husband Van Irion and daughters Kaiya and Natasha.

Bethie grew up in Mar Vista California as the oldest of seven siblings. She loved the ocean and visited it often, even later in life after moving to northern California. She loved to fly kites on the Mendocino bluffs. She proudly graduated from Venice high where they filmed Grease and received a BA from UCLA. Beth had a long career with CA state licensing and eventually became a licensed investigator. She cared deeply about making sure day care and nursing home centers were providing safe and healthy facilities for their clients. Beth was also active with the Pregnancy Care Center in Ukiah CA which helped young women navigate unplanned pregnancies and with an after school program helping students learn to sew.

Bethie loved life and she was easily loved by everyone who knew her. She was always quick with a smile and a laugh. She was a wonderful sister, mom and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Donations in her honor are being directed to Advocates International. This is an organization that was started by a high school friend, Sam Ericson, which supports lawyers around the world who advocate for persecuted Christians. Sam passed from cancer several years ago but Advocates is still very active in defending human rights in many countries. You can learn more about them at https://advocatesinternational.org/

A Graveside Service will be held for Beth A. Erickson on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 1:15 P.M. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery; 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, California.
