Beverly Keathley was born on January 12, 1938, to Loys and Beulah Walker in Springfield, MO and
Passed away on June 22, 2022, in Vacaville, CA at the age of 84.
She graduated from SW Missouri State with a degree in Education as she loved teaching. She taught
Math at Albany High School in Albany, CA, then later at Redwood Jr High and Vintage High, both of
Napa.
Beverly also taught at Napa State Hospital, Mare Island, and Napa Adult Education and tutored many
students. In addition to teaching, she worked many years as a bookkeeper at Massen's Fabrics in
Napa.
Beverly married Rodney Keathley in, 1961, in Kansas City and then moved to California in 1963. They
lived in Richmond, Pleasant Hill, Napa and finally Vacaville during their 49 years of marriage while
raising two children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter - Suzanne Schuyler, brother - Norm
Walker, and sister - Shirley Pemberton. Left to mourn her loss is her son - Greg Keathley and wife
Sandy, grandchildren - Amber Schuyler, Kyle Schuyler, Joshua Kocher, and Carter Keathley, and two
great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Bev was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was always helping her family in some way or
another. Now at peace, she can sip her tea and eat her Oreo cookies in a beautiful garden setting and
be content that she only brought good to the lives she touched.
Per her wishes, there will not be a service and her ashes will be spread at a later time. In lieu of
flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
