Bibiano Pereira Untal, Sr. entered into eternal life on February 8, 2019. This beloved husband, father and grandfather is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Narcisa Luciano Untal, Sr., seven children, George (Carmen) Untal, Antonio (Cecilia) Untal, Sr., Debor (Marylou) Untal, Bibiano (Joyce) Untal, Jr., Estrelita (Christain) Clarke, Carlos (Maniya) Untal, and Narcisa (Patrick) Howse, sixteen grandchildren, George Untal, Melissa (Mathew) Rice, Jennifer (Randall) Leighton, Stephen Burress, Antonio Untal Jr., Debbilou (Randy) Bailes, Christain (Jocelyn) Clarke, Andrew Untal, Deborah Untal, Matthew Untal, Brandon Untal, Sabrina Untal, Ciera Howse, Natalie Untal, Brian Howse and Chase Untal , and eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a sister, Antoinetta Untal Balimiento.

Bibiano was born in Tibiao, Antique, Philippines on February 4, 1928. He is the sixth child blessed to Anatalio and Maria Untal. His work ethic developed at an early age. A job opportunity at the Base Exchange at Clark Air Force Base brought him to Angeles City, Pampanga, where he worked his way up to supervisor, one of the highest civilian position on the base. Angeles City is also where he met the love of his life, Narcisa Pineda Luciano. They were married on April 14, 1952 and settled in Angeles City. In 1969, Bibiano and Narcisa were accompanied by their six children in emigrating to the United States in hopes of better opportunities. They eventually chose to reside in Stockton, California, where they had their last child, Narcisa Jr.

In 1974, Bibiano gained his U.S. citizenship. No stranger to hard work, he started off as a migrant field worker in the Central Valley, as many Filipino immigrants did during that time. He moved on to become a manager at Rough and Ready Island's Naval Base Exchange in Stockton, from where he eventually retired. Through his own civil service career, and that of his children's military service, Bibiano had grown a prideful love of this country and the prosperity it brought to his family.

Being a family man above all else, Bibiano delighted in caring for his grandchildren so they moved to Vacaville, California in 2003 to be closer to most of them. In the twilight of his life, he eagerly attended and traveled to gymnastics meets, dance recitals, sporting events, church functions and graduations, not wanting to miss the talents and accomplishments of those he loved most.

On February 8, 2019 at 1:49 p.m., Bibiano went home to our Lord and Savior. He was 91 years old. He is now rejoicing with his parents, brothers, sisters and friends that have gone before him. He is healed totally, fully and eternally.

A visitation will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1791 Marshall Road in Vacaville on Tuesday, February 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; the rosary is at 7:00 p.m. A Catholic funeral mass will also be at St. Joseph's Church in Vacaville on Wednesday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will follow for the immediate family only.
