A memorial service for Carl William Evans, 87, of Fairfield will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Vaca Hills Chapel. Pastor Curt Miller will officiate.

Carl went home to the Lord on February 6, 2020 at home surrounded with family. Carl was born March 29, 1932 at home to John and Allie Evans in Bergman, Oklahoma. The family moved to the San Joaquin Valley in 1939.

Carl was a devoted, loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather. He was an avid bowler, in his younger years a basketball player and active in his church with a focus on gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nadine Evans, and a large blended family of 4 (step)children, 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Beverly Evans and Michelle Benson.
