Carol Ann Stuart Wright | 1935–2025

Carol Ann Stuart Wright, 89, of Vacaville, California, passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2025, surrounded by care and love. Born on December 23, 1935, in Los Angeles, California, she married Donald Stuart at the young age of 18. Married for 51 years, they resided together in Saugus, California, and raised four daughters: Cathy, Connie, Cindy and Candy. Following Donald's passing, Carol Ann later married Charles Wright in 2009. Eventually she moved to Cornerstone Assisted Living in Vacaville to be closer to family.

Family was everything to her, and she cherished all her relationships, including with her younger brother, Larry. Carol Ann was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, and her Christian faith was a driving force in her life—she was passionate about sharing the Gospel. Also an active member of the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society, she loved collectables and surrounded herself with treasures; turtles and reamers were her signature novelties.

A beloved grandmother to eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, Carol Ann was blessed to meet her first great-great-grandchild this year, precious Emilia. Remaining to cherish her memory are Catheryne Eckels (Mark), Constance Harris (Ken), Cynthia White (Dana), and Candace Coash (preceded in death by beloved son-in-law Mike).

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at Vaca Hills Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Carol Ann would have loved for a donation to be made on her behalf to a charity that holds special meaning to your heart. The family would like to thank the amazing caregivers and staff at Cornerstone; they helped provide Carol Ann with love and community during the final years of her life.
