Cecile Delois Harrell transitioned from this earth on the evening of July 26, 2024, at Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville, California. She was born in Springfield, Ohio to the late Willoughby (Willie "B") and Ada Calhoun.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, friend and educator. She worked at the San Francisco Unified School District until moving to Vacaville where she worked until retirement at the Vacaville Christian Academy.  She had a total of 24 years of educational service.

Cecile is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Oliver Harrell Sr., one son, Oliver Harrell Jr. and his wife, Ann Agnew; two daughters, Roxanne Harrell Martin and her husband, Phillip Martin; and their youngest child, Carol Elaine Center; She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, co-workers and her loving church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willoughby and Ada; older brother, Walter Wade Calhoun Sr. and one sister.

A "Going Home Celebration Service" 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Harvest Church 126 Peabody Road in Vacaville

Private Burial at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery 522 Elmira Road in Vacaville
