Charles ("Chuck") Joseph Elsbernd, 64 years old, of Vacaville, California, died on April 14, 2024.

Chuck was born in Pocatello, Idaho in 1960 to Leonard Joseph Elsbernd and Rosemary Clyne, and was their only son.

He is a 1978 graduate of Vacaville High School and of Solano College. He and his wife, Shelley Louise Jensen, married in 1984 and celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary earlier this month.

Chuck is survived by Shelley and their four children, and two grandchildren – Samson (spouse Michael); Joseph; Charles ("Charlie") and his son Charles Wyatt Elsbernd; and Katie and her son Jaxson Wade Elsbernd. He is also survived by his sisters Suzanne, Deeann, Michelle ("Micki") (partner Loren), and Annette (spouse Paul). He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Amy and Nina.

Funeral services for Chuck will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 10:00AM at St. Joseph's Church in Vacaville, California. A reception will follow.
