Cheryl J. Duncan A 42 year resident of Dixon Ca., passed away peacefully Wednesday Sept. 4 at Kaiser Hospital Vacaville.  After a bout with respiratory / pulmonary issues and despite all efforts made by the wonderful Doctors and Nurses she passed. Cheryl was surrounded by her immediate family. To add, She was smiling and happy.

Cheryl was able to tell her family that she "Loved each of them…." and "That they were her life….". She was with her 5 grandchildren: Devon, Haley, Hannah, Paden and Ryan. Also by her side were: son Robert Jr. his wife Debbie, her daughter Tracy with husband Joe and youngest son David.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Esmond and by her husband Robert G. Duncan Sr. who passed away in Oct. 1989. A U.S Army Veteran and Southern Pacific Rail-Road Trainman; Robert Sr. is currently interred at the Sacramento National Cemetery in Dixon. Cheryl was the Daughter of William and June Esmond. William retired from the U.S Navy and became a Milk deliveryman in the Bay Area. June was a Lifelong Nurse and retired from Fairmont Hospital in Oakland.

Cheryl and Robert Sr. will be interred together at the Sacramento National Cemetery; Where the family will hold a private ceremony.

A Celebration of life is planned for all Family and Friends on Friday September 27, 2019 at the Dixon Methodist Church from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you donate to the American heart association in Cheryl's or Robert Sr.'s name.
