Chris Rosselli,
Jr
Mar 13, 1954 — Jul 25, 2025
Vacaville
Chris Rosselli, aged 71, of Vacaville, CA, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 13, 1954, in Napa, CA, to Barbara and Chris Rosselli, he later settled in Vacaville, where he built a wonderful life.
Known for his warm smile, laughter, quick wit, sarcasm, and generous heart, Chris touched the lives of many. He was the kind of person who could strike up a conversation with anyone, offering both laughter and wisdom in equal measure. Chris was genuine and kind, someone you could always count on—no matter the situation or the time of day or night. His presence brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to know him.
Chris spent much of his career in the meat industry, where his skill, knowledge, and work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike. Later in life, he pursued his passion for craftsmanship, becoming a master knife maker whose artistry and precision were reflected in his work.
Chris had a deep love for music, often found playing his guitar or banjo and sharing his favorite artists and songs with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing in Alaska with his family and lifelong friends, traveling with his wife Judy, savoring bourbon with his buddies, and creating delicious meals on the grill or in the kitchen. Whether making music, setting off on a new adventure, creating a new recipe, or enjoying good company and conversation, Chris embraced life's simple pleasures with enthusiasm.
Chris leaves behind his loving wife, Judy Rosselli; his children, Lucas Rosselli and Jessica Marcisz (Evan Marcisz); as well as his step-children Kevin Friend (Rachel Friend), Jeffrey Friend (Emily Friend), Nick Friend and his 6 beloved grandchildren; Ella Marcisz, Jaxon Friend, Ryan Friend, James Friend, Max Friend and Cam Friend whom he adored more than anything. He is also survived by his brother, Roy Rosselli (Sue Rosselli); his sister, Amanda Sorge (Jason Sorge); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Barbara Rosselli, and his brother, Steven Rosselli.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 23, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ulatis Community Center in Vacaville, CA.
Rest in peace, Chris. Your laughter, and your love will never fade.
