Cynthia (Cindy) A. de los Reyes, 70, passed away surrounded by her family on April 2, 2023 at UC Davis Medical Center.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Leo and Jacqueline (Cleaves) Guange. Cynthia graduated from East Boston High School in 1970. Following graduation, she attended the Fashion Design School in Boston, and also worked as a manager at Filene's Basement department store. In the mid 1970's, she relocated to San Francisco, CA where she gave birth to her first daughter, Jacqui (Guange) Wiggins. She began working for the Coca Cola Co. where she met her husband, Roland de los Reyes in 1984. They were married in 1985. In 1986, they moved to Hercules, Ca and welcomed daughter Amanda de los Reyes, followed by Alicia (de los Reyes) Santa Cruz, 2 years later.
Cynthia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Her favorite place away from home was the beach where she enjoyed listening to the waves crash, building sandcastles and digging in the sand with her grandkids, and searching for seashells and her favorite, sea glass. Cynthia had a deep love of music that began when she was young. She loved playing music at home and in the car and attending live concerts with loved ones.
Cynthia is predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Roland, her 3 daughters; Jacqui Wiggins, Amanda de los Reyes, Alicia and husband Danny Santa Cruz, her 3 grandchildren; Izaiah Wiggins, Christian Wiggins, and Eli Santa Cruz, her brother Lenny Guange, and many nieces and nephews and brother and sister-in-laws.
A service of prayer and remembrance to honor Cynthia will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Vaca Hills Chapel 524 Elmira Road Vacaville, Ca. Interment will be at Rolling Hills Memorial Park. Those who wish send cards or flowers may send them to Vaca Hills Chapel.
