Daniel Patrick Russell

Daniel Patrick Russell, known to many as Danny, was born on July 10, 1966, and passed away on September 6, 2025. Born with Down syndrome, Danny faced life's challenges with courage, determination, and a joyful spirit. He was an accomplished swimmer, earning multiple medals in the Special Olympics, a testament to his dedication and talent.

He is remembered for his pure heart, gentle soul, and the love he freely shared with those around him. Danny leaves behind a loving family, including his siblings Jeanne Garner (Bill), Karen Dinsdale (Don), Bill Russell (Teri), and Cheryl Hayden (Mike). He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, James Russell and Barbara Russell-Wyatt, and his brother, Chris Russell (Angela), who passed before him. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to Jeanne, Bill, Jason, Corina, and their daughter Ashley for their unending love and support, providing Danny with a warm and caring home in his final years.

A Graveside Service will be held for Daniel Russell on October 2, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery; 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, California.
