During the morning of December 24th, 2023 a piece of our heart was taken. A beloved father, grandfather and husband. Danny M. Fain passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with ALS. His outgoing personality, great sense of humor and determination will be missed. Danny was born April 29th, 1964 in Richmond,California to his mother Patricia K Fain. Danny moved to Suisun at 6 years old. His mother married Tom Fain. Tom adopted Danny and their bond was strong. Danny went to the local elementary school and graduated from Armijo High School. Danny was an avid sports player while growing up. He played baseball and football. Danny at the age of 18 began his career in construction.

Danny met Candy Childers in 1985 at Howard Johnson Restaurant. Danny the customer and Candy the waitress had an instant connection. They were married on February 11th, 1988. Soon after they welcomed their first child Amanda Leann in April 1988 and two years later welcomed Chelsea Danielle in July of 1990. Candy and Danny remained in Solano County and raised their children. Danny continued to work in construction for the next 35 years. Danny was diagnosed with ALS July 2023. The diagnosis came as a shock due to it being very rare but it never got Danny down. He attended his grandson Jordan's baseball games, went to a concert, blew bubbles for his younger grandson Camden, and went out to dinner with his family. Danny continued to be in high spirits.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Fain and his favorite mother in law Micheline Childers. His surviving family members include his father Tom Fain, his wife of 35 years Candy Fain, his oldest daughter Amanda Calvert and her husband Blake and grandson's Jordan and Camden and his youngest daughter Chelsea, His brother and best friend Ben Pinkham and his beloved dog Dozer.

Danny was hard working and loved by so many people.  We will continue to honor him and his memory. His love for his family and friends will forever be missed.
