Davidson B. Nichols was born October 26, 1945 in Littlefield, TX to Jewel Floyd & Willie Dee Nichols. Davidson passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and children. Thursday October 11, 2018, at the age of 72.

He grew up in Campbell, CA and graduated from Campbell High in 1964. Davidson joined the Army and served his Country honorably in the Vietnam War. Although he was a decorated veteran, he believed the true hero's were his fallen brothers left behind.

Davidson met and married the love of his life Linda Kneisel in 1972. They raise 3 children: Scott Allen Nichols of Vacaville, Mary Cathryne (Derrick) Woodward of Lakeside, MT & Patrick Davidson (Jennifer) Nichols of Vacaville. David and Linda extended their home and love to nephews Alan (Deidra) Kneisel of Sacramento and Joe-David Spann (Toni) of Bembrook, Tx. In Dave's heart they were like sons.

Davidson had an authentic, vibrant faith in God, coming to faith in Jesus Christ in his mid-20's after his time in Vietnam. His relationship with the Lord along with his family is truly what he treasured most.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves His wife, 3 children, 7 grandchildren Ashley, Tiffany, Sydney, Madison, Mercy, Abigail & Caleb 7 special great nieces & nephews Abby, Rebecca, John David, Kaitlyn, Devon, Jayson, & Audrina

Services for David will be held at 10 am on October 18, 2018 at Orchard Baptist Church, 301 N. Orchard Ave, Vacaville, CA 95688
