Debbie Shaw of Dixon, California passed from earth to heaven on January 17, 2024. She was born in Anaconda, Montana on May 2, 1953, to Peter and Lois Rodlund. She graduated from Kennedy High School in Fremont, California in 1971. She married her husband Doug in 1973, and they had four sons, whom they raised while living in Ukiah, California.

Debbie, was a woman who worked hard to provide for her family. She loved children and demonstrated this love in various ways, such as providing in-home day care, working in different roles in public schools and serving as a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, jewelry, shopping, cooking and baking. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed road trips, the beach, hiking, walking, and spending time with her dog Emma. She will be remembered for her hearty laughter, her meaningful hugs, her generous spirit, and her positive attitude. But most of all her Christian faith. This faith was her anchor and her joy. She loved her Lord and those who knew her knew it. She loved well and was well loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sisters Lynn Schexnayder, Sandy Travagli, Janet (Glen) Dewey, and her sons Bryan (Eva) Shaw, David Shaw, Kevin Shaw, and Mike (Lindsay) Shaw, and four grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the church she attended faithfully on Saturday February 10, 2024 at 11:30 AM.
