Donald Lee
Williams
May 29, 1954 — Sep 1, 2017
Vacaville
On September 1, 2017, Donald Lee Williams passed away quietly at his home after fighting cancer. The cancer may have won the body, but Donnie's spirit remains with his large family who all love him!
He is now with his loved and cherished family whom have previously passed on.
Donald was born on May 29, 1954 in Taylorville, Illinois to the late Donald R. (father) and Joann A. (mother).
He is survived by his wife Karen and 2 stepdaughters, Lyra and Michelle, his brother's Stanley and Shane, and his sister Denise. His family doesn't end here because Donald came from a very large and loving family with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and cherished every one of them.
Donald joined the US Army back in the early 70's and was honorably discharged in the late 1970's. He went on to earn a Bachelors' degree in Business and Finance. He worked awhile for the South Bay Education Corporation and then went on to what was his 'Dream Job' in finance in the automobile industry until retirement.
He had a love of cars and motorcycles from his older brother which never left him.
Donald's wishes were to be cremated and have some of his ashes sent to Illinois to his brother Stanley and sister Denise to be with his family. His other wish is to go back to the ocean (which he loved) and to Big Bear Calif. where he first met his wife in the late 1970's and was married there in 2003. Lastly, he served his country in the US Army and will stay Army. He refused to have a sad service and just wanted to go quietly.......He will be deeply missed by all.
