May 9, 1932 – November 27, 2025
Dorothy Imogene (Jean) Wagner, 92, passed away on November 27, 2024, while residing in Ogden, UT. She was born in Wentworth MO, daughter of William and Marie (Knoetzel) Dacy. She was a graduate of Pierce City High School. While in Missouri she met and married her beloved husband of 65 years, Frank Wagner, who preceded her in death.
Those left to honor and treasure her memory include her son Frank Jr. (Melodee) and her two daughters Linda Peckham (Mark), and Mary Wagner (Jeff Waalkes) and one brother, Roy Dacy. She was a loving grandmother to 4 grandchildren, Christine Schlicht, Jennifer Jackson, Laura Sue Jones, and Courtney Wagner. She was blessed to have 9 great grandchildren in her life Nathan, Adam, Paul and Aaron Schlicht, Gillian, Brenna, Jordan and Ellie Jackson, and Lilly Jones. Jean enjoyed staying in touch with her and Franks nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, William and Maire, her son Michael, and her brothers and sisters, William Dacy (Wilma), Lousie (Dick) Henry, Virgina (John) Kimber, Robert (Norma) Dacy, Donald (Viola) Dacy, Rita (Jim) Goff, Rose (Mark) Strick, John (Betty Jo) Dacy, James (Kay) Dacy and Clarence Dacy.
Jean worked as an office manager for automobile agencies while raising her family and after retirement, she and Frank had many adventures with friends and family as they traveled the country in a recreational vehicle. She worked as a Forest Service volunteer and as an office manager for Lucerne Valley Marina at the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area in Utah. Jean enjoyed good food, good wine, and good friends and often hosted folks around a picnic or dining room table. She was happiest when friends and family were around.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on May 9, 2025 at 12:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1791 Marshall Road, Vacaville, CA 95687
Interment to follow at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery at 2:00P.M. ; 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620.
