It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eddie Cueva.

Eddie grew up in Vacaville and attended local schools. He was an avid fisherman and loved to participate in outdoor activities with his family and friends. Eddie was a dedicated Giants and Niners fan and one could always find Eddie watching or attending their games. He was a quiet man who enjoyed being in the company of his family, especially with his brothers. While Eddie was someone who enjoyed his solitude, he was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

He will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Francisca Cueva; brothers, Roberto, Tony, Richard, and David; and sister, Elva.

Eddie leaves behind his daughters; Jessica Lohf (Howard), Jamie Wold (Jake), and Gabriella Cueva Gumataotao. He is survived by his grandchildren Aurelio, Jasmine, Isabella, Jacob Madden, and Howard Jr.; brother Joseph (Dora); sisters Elvira, Lupe, Rose, Sylvia, and Carolina (George). Eddie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1pm at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home, 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best Giants/49er apparel, or black and orange in honor of Eddie.
