Edward (Ed) Dillon passed away on Oct. 14, 2019 at the age of 100. He lived in San Diego many years and then in Vacaville until his passing. He was born in St. Albans, Vermont. Over the years Ed worked in the steel mills, the oil fields and retired with American Airlines in San Diego. He served with the 3 ^rd Army in Europe during WWII and was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge.

Ed is survived by his step daughter Stephanie Cooper, step son-in-law Cliff Cooper, step daughter-in-law Vickie Bailey, niece Kathy Welsh and 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ed was a member of the American Legion.

Private graveside services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Diego.
