Bill Persin passed away on the evening of October 7, 2017 in Vacaville. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 9, 1937 to Edward and Audrice Persin. A longtime resident of Vacaville, he was a fixture at "Mel's Diner". He worked in the restaurant field for many years.

Bill is survived by his sisters, Maureen, Ruth and Claire; brother-in-law, Robert; he is also survived by an abundance of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Roberta.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Mel's Diner here in Vacaville. The date of the celebration to be announced later.
