Eric Troy Barreras

Eric Barreras touched this world with his sweet presence on Thursday, September 5th, 1991, where he continuously shined his light that made him so special in our hearts, everywhere he went, and with everyone he met, up until he went onto his glory, Sunday, June 29th, 2025.

He was preceded in his earthly departure by his great grandmother, Gloria Barreras, whom we lovingly call Gaga, where the two are now, once again, reunited.

Our beloved Eric leaves behind with us his sons, whom he loves very dearly, Eric Noel, 13 years old, and Ivan Moises 10 years old. Not a moment would go by where he was not mentioning them without that big cheesy smile that we've all come to know and love glistening across his face.

Along with sons, Eric leaves us with other close family members that he holds deeply in his heart; his brother, Stephen Jacob Barreras, his sisters, Ericka Smith and Davon Féria, his mother, Candace Rincon, as well as Nora Barreras, Shesha, Rene and Roman Olivencia and his grandfather, Steve Rincon.

Eric loved lots of things. He was very creative, constantly messing around with the arts and crafts. Most times you could find Eric at the table or on the couch drawing pictures, journaling, or even just writing his name over and over in big bubble letters and bright neon colors. He loved to get his hands dirty. Whether that be working on cars, playing with his boys outside, or inside the house helping Rene, whom he called "Pops," fix something up. He loved to continuously talk and share things about God and his faith that he was so deeply rooted in. Especially with his boys. He was always making sure that even if he wasn't physically there to answer their questions, they could always reach inside and lean on God to give them the answers to whatever they were searching for. Eric loved to have deep authentic conversations with those he loved. As well as, sharing good company with whomever would sit around with him, watching the rain pass by, or even something as simple as a movie night in front of the TV with his boys.

Wherever Eric went, he was always sharing his playfulness and light with those whose paths he shared in.

We love you very much Eric, in grace and eternally yours.

A Visitation will be held for Eric Barreras on July 21, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home; 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, California.
