A funeral service for Frances Rivera, 83 of Vacaville, will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Vaca Hills Chapel 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville. Prior to the funeral, a viewing will begin at 11:00 A.M. Fran passed away on the morning of August 30, 2017 at her home. She was born in Pratt, Kansas on February 25, 1934 to Huston and Veda Edwards.
Fran was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from Civil Engineers, Travis A.F.B. and was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
Fran is survived by her son, Vincent Rivera; grandchildren, Jessica Rivera, Gregory Rivera (Cansas) and Brianna Rivera; great grandchildern, Michael Pratt, Jesse Rivera, Madisyn Rivera, Aubrey Rivera, Rylan Tanabe and Israel Scott; sister, Sharon Brown and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse and son, Alex Rivera.
