Frank was born in Memphis, TN, to Johnnie Kathleen and Henry Whittle, raised in Corpus Christi, TX until he enlisted in the USAF in 1960. He served at Mather AFB, Beale AFB and Sidi Slimane, Morocco.
He is survived by Marie, his wife of 56 years; their daughter,Christina Marie Olivolo, grandson Kevin Jordan Olivolo; son Christopher Charles Whittle, daughter-in-law Magda Nour, grandchildren Thomas, Victoria, Alexandra and Elizabeth; son Anthony Francis Whittle, daughter-in-law Tracie, grandchildren Anthony and Scarlett.

His greatest love and joy in life was his family. He hoped to instill in his children a deep and abiding love of God and of Mother Nature. Camping with them and enjoying the beauty of the wonders of nature in the Redwoods, Sierras and the entire West was his greatest pleasure. He enjoyed traveling, sailing, cross country skiing, and hiking with his family all of their lives.
His friendship and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by many, but his memory as a good and loving husband, good and kind Dad, good friend, and upstanding, honest citizen will live on in our hearts.

th
, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the Parish Center Meeting Room #1.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Frank by enjoying Mother Nature with your family, and by volunteering for good causes.
