Gary E. Cecchini passed on October 18, 2024.   He succumb to cancer.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann; his and her parents.

He is survived by his wife Marcia of Vacaville; son Kenneth (his wife Pamela) of Vacaville; daughter Debbie of Idaho and grandchildren Nicole; Stephen (his wife Sierra); Hailey and Lindsey and Callam, five (5) great grandchildren three (3) stepsons and their families.

Gary worked at Mare Island, retiring in 1996, he worked there from graduating high school to the day they shut it down. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; then later in life a Classic Car Show attendee, proudly showing his 1955 Chevy.  A generational owned car started when his Grandfather bought it new off the lot in 1955.
