Gary Lynn Levengood, 66, of Vacaville, CA, entered into eternal rest on October 25, 2021. He was born on October 26, 1954, in Lebanon, PA to Frank Levengood and Doris (Sharp) Hauck. Gary was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. After graduating from Cedar Crest High School in 1974, he went on to serve 16 years in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for over 20 years at Simpson Duravent. A few of Gary's favorite hobbies included bowling, being a DJ, and playing softball. Gary loved watching sports, especially his San Francisco Giants. He had always said he wanted to see the SF Giants win one World Series before he died. He was fortunate enough to have seen it done 3 times within a five-year span. He will always be remembered for his quirkiness and for being a fun-loving guy who never took life too seriously. He loved to make people smile and laugh. He is survived by his wife, Boonwern Levengood; daughter, Sabrina Levengood; step son, Patrick Ehrhard; Step father Marty Hauck; brothers, Robert Hauck (Val), Greg Hauck, Barry Hauck (Leann), Frank Levengood Jr., Andy Levengood (Melanie); nieces Jessica Hauck, Nicole (Hauck) Hurst; and nephews Brandon Hauck, Tyler Hauck, Jacob Levengood, and Lucas Levengood. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Levengood of Vacaville, CA; his mother, Doris Hauck of Lebanon, PA; and his step mother, Nina Levengood of Vacaville, CA. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery; 5810 Midway Road Dixon, CA 95620.
