There will be a funeral service for Mr. Bernardo at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Vaca Hills Chapel 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville followed by burial at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Road in Dixon, CA at 1:15 P.M.

Born in Rodeo CA, April 16 ^th , 1933, passed in Vacaville CA September 6 ^th , 2022.

Attended John Sweat High School in Crockett CA

Served in the US Army during the Korean War conflict with Honorable discharge.

Retired from C&H Sugar in 1988 Crockett CA

He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Mary, wife Gracie and grandson Joshua

George loved to go camping with the family, taught the boys how to fish and hunt and enjoyed building projects around the house, especially odd projects. He really enjoyed family especially spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

George was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

He is survived by:

Son, Gregg, wife Jennifer, grandson Stephen wife Nichole, great grandsons Samuel and Micah and great granddaughter Alivia, grandson Matthew wife Mina, granddaughter Rebekah husband Martin, great grandsons Elijah and Noah

Son Glenn, wife Lisa, granddaughter Amada, grandson Daniel wife Danielle

Son Gary, granddaughter Brittany husband Tony, great granddaughter Ava and great grandson Joey
