Harold William Mitchell, 80 of Vacaville, passed away on the morning of June 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Harold was born on March 24, 1943 to Robert and Iva Mae Mitchell nee Forsyth in Dayton, Ohio

Harold honorably served in the U.S. Air Force until his retirement as a Senior Master Sergeant. He went on to work for United Airlines for 14 years as a mechanic.

A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, he enjoyed traveling the world with his beloved wife, Barbara, spending time with his family and fishing.

Harold is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara; sons James Mitchell and Mark Mitchell (Stacy); grandsons, Will and Seth; sister, Roberta "Bobbie" Belcher; brothers Tom Mitchell (Bonnie) and Bob Mitchell (Edie); He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandy Cubbage.

There will be a viewing from 5-8 P.M. on Tuesday, June 13th at Vaca Hills Chapel followed by a funeral service at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 14th also at Vaca Hills Chapel. He will be laid to rest at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
