A Mass of Christian Burial for Iris Marie Knecht, 85 of Vacaville, will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 350 Stinson Ave. in Vacaville. Burial will follow at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Monday evening, September 25th there will be a viewing from 5-8:00 P.M. with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Knecht passed away peacefully on September 17, 2017. She was born on August 27, 1932 in Vacaville to Joseph and Carmella Barty. Iris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of St. Mary's and the Friday Night with Jesus Ministry there. Iris was also a professed member of the Marian Ministries of Jesus Crucified.

Iris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles in 2012. She is survived by daughter, Cynthia A. Perazzo and husband, Robert of Fairfield; son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. Knecht Jr. and wife Cindy of Montana; daughter, Laurie M. Weber and husband, Frank of Vacaville; grandchildren, Tealyn, Daniel, Christopher, Jennifer, Bryant, Rebecca and Jared; great grandchildren, Ariela, Tyler, Carmella, Elizabeth, Oliver, Eleanor Iris and Hazel; brother, Joseph Barty Jr. and a host of extended family and friends.
