Jackie Shangkee Chan

2/6/1943 - 12/25/2021
Jackie Shangkee Chan was the epitome of an "independent woman" long before the term was popular.
She was one of two daughters from her large family to immigrate to the United States from Malaysia in the 1970s.
She proudly earned her accounting degree from San Francisco State and quickly rose through the professional ranks as a businesswoman.
Jackie was also a proud working wife and mother who raised two sons in Hayward, California. She retired to Fairfield after four-plus decades of working.
She is survived by her husband Harry Yee, who was at her side while she battled illness, her two devoted sons, Andrew and Lawrence, daughter-in-law Phoebe and grandchildren Madeleine and Benjamin. She is also survived by loving siblings and their families in the Midwest, Asia and Australia.
The holidays will be less joyous without her, but her loving spirit and dedication to her family will never be forgotten.
