Jim left this world June 07,2021 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He passed quietly at home with his family at his side.

Born June 26,1969 on Selfridge AFB Michigan to H Lee and Annette Tedder, Jim "Minny", mostly grew up in Ca. He attended Elm elementary school, Will C Wood Jr High school,  he ran track and field and also went to Vaca High, during which time he was a junior firefighter.

In 1987 Jim enlisted in the Navy as Aviation Ordinance and proudly served on the USS RANGER CV61 throughout the Gulf War. Jim reveled telling his sons stories about his travels to various countries, ship-life, and the lifelong friendships made during his time in service as a decorated veteran.

With a heart as big as his smile, Jim opened our house to anyone who needed a place to call home. In the end ,whoever came to stay became family by default. He was the same with animals and would never turn a stray away. Jim was also great at volunteering his time to people and causes, especially within the veteran and special needs communities.

A man of vast knowledge and many interest, a normal conversation with him could take you from the nesting and flight patterns of his beloved humming birds to quantum mechanics to Homer Simpson. Through the years he discovered a passion for photography and enjoyed helping out at the Scottish Games with his Dad. He loved watching SHARKS hockey and enjoyed NASCAR.

Jim leaves behind, his love Parrish Mackey-Shull, his boys Brandon Mackey and Zachary Grudem , Parents H Lee Tedder(Father) and Annette Tedder(Mother), Sister LeAnn W. Tedder, Nephew Max Tedder, and Nieces, Xarielle Aguilar, Rio Enriquez, Elisa Reguera, Rebecca Zepeda-Tedder, and Leanna Tedder.

And many more great nieces and nephews.

Jim's funeral will be August 4th at 2:00 pm at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Road in Dixon. There will be a celebration of life on August 7th all day at Alamo creek Park.
