Jennie Margaret (Black) Cavazos Oct. 14, 1935 - Jan. 11, 2018 Vacaville Jennie Margaret (Black) Cavazos received her angel wings Jan. 11. She was born Oct. 14, 1935 in Maplewood, PA, to Margaret and Paul Black. Jennie was in the first graduating class of Vacaville High School and was employed many years at the Basic Foods and the A Street Delicatessen in Davis. Jennie's favorite hobbies included baking, cooking, bowling, traveling, reading Danielle Steele books and enjoying being around her family. Jennie was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her door was always open to family and friends with food on the table. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Reed, James Reed, Paul Black; son, Tomas; daughter, Michelle, and sister, Clara Bross. She is survived by husband, Abelardo Cavazos of 64 years; daughters, Cynthia, Sylvia (Joe), Sophie; sons, Michael (Donna), Samuel (Sue); brothers, Jerry Reed and Gary (Pat) Reed; 15 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m., with a reception to follow in the Parrish Hall. Interment to be private.
