Jesus (Chuy) Gonzalez, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021. Jesus lived his life to the fullest, each and every day. He was a stubborn but loving man with a deep passion for music and dancing. His favorite dance partner was his beautiful wife, Mary. He was a hardworking man and enjoyed working on his many projects around their home. Although Jesus was retired, he would often do work for others just to keep himself busy. He was devoted to his dogs and looked forward to their daily walks on the bike trail. He adored his family and took great pride in all of them. He would always find a reason to have his family gathered together and that is when he was his happiest. Jesus is survived by his wife, Mary Salazar-Gonzalez; his children, Guadalupe, Salvador, Jesus, Patricia, Kathy, Vanessa, Helen, Mark and Margarita; his siblings, Francisco, Elena, Jose, Alfonso, Benjamin and Irma; his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his best friend, Gerardo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Esperanza; his sister, Guadalupe; and his dear aunt, Mercy. A viewing will be held at Vaca Hills Chapel on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Spanish speaking service to follow at 1:00 pm. Jesus will be laid to rest at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Jesus will be missed by all.
