A Celebration of Life for John Anthony Collet Jr., 63 of Winters, will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Vaca Hills Chapel 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville. Private interment will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.

John died peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was the beloved "forever" husband of Louise Helen Patrick. John was born at Travis Air Force Base on April 18, 1956, a son of Jocelyn Ann Collet and John Anthony Collet Sr, and has resided in Winters since 2006.

Mr. Collet enlisted in the Army in 1972, He was stationed in Germany. After he left the Military in 1974, he settled in Napa, CA where he went on to operate heavy equipment machinery and eventually received his General Contractors License.

John started his own company known as John Collet Construction, Inc. The main focus of his business was remodeling homes. As the owner/ project manager, John prided himself on completing projects on time and on budget and keeping his word to his customers.

John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Louise Collet; dad and mom, John A. Collet Sr. and Jocelyn Collet of Statesville NC.; sons, John A. Collet and wife, Starr of Vacaville, CA and Anthony J. Collet and wife, Alejandra of Lusby MD.; three daughters, April Collet and husband Chad Breen of Prince Frederick, MD., Stephanie Louise Cole and fiancé, Carina Elias of Fairfield, CA. and Alissa Billingsley of Antioch , CA.; three sisters, Kathy Todd of Keystone WV, Debbie Collet Higgins  and Connie Jean Brower of Statesville CA; 10 grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
