John A. Rice, 78 of Vacaville, passed away on September 6th, 2021. He was born on October 23rd 1943 to Katherine (Kelleher) Rice and John D. Rice in San Francisco. John was a Vietnam veteran and had a long career in the financial industry. Prior to moving to Vacaville he lived in Napa for 30 years. He enjoyed reading, travel and learning new languages. John is survived by his wife, his sister and brother in law and two nephews and his niece and two grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at St. Joseph Church in Vacaville at 10am.
