Jon A. Freels passed away December 10th, 2023. He was 61 years old. He is preceded in death by his wife, Christina G. Freels, his parents Shirley & Franklin, and his brother Charles, all of whom are from Evansville, Indiana. He is survived by his children Jessica, Zachary, and Cassie, and grandchild Gracie. He is also survived by his brother Franklin and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He proudly served on the USS Buffalo and a memorial will be held at Vaca Valley National Cemetery January 26th, at 130pm. A celebration of life will be held at the Odd Fellows at 510 Main Street afterwards.
