Joshua Ray Malliot-Koon of Vacaville, California passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was 43.

Josh was born in Quincy, Washington to Tim and Dawnita Koon on February 15, 1981 and had spent the last 20 plus years working in the automotive industry.

Josh enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, racing RC cars and most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and children. He also loved helping Jessica take care of all of the animals on their farm.

Josh was a soft soul and a great entertainer. He was always in pursuit of making his loved ones laugh and feel a sense of joy. His sense of humor was a great source of enjoyment for his loved ones, who loved seeing his personality shine through.

Josh is survived by his parents, Tim and Dawnita Koon, his siblings; Michael (Melissa) Koon, and Dannielle (Matt) Hayter. Along with the love of his life, Jessica Girardot and his children; Mickhaley, Londyn, Ryker, and Asher, and his nephews; Paxton, Landon and Sawyer, extended family members and friends. He is preceded in passing by his grandparents; Donald and Joan Malliot.

Josh was a wonderful fiancé, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson and most of all he was a loving and caring father. His joyous presence will be mourned and missed. It is the hope of his loved ones that his pain is now eased and that he is able to feel deeply the love of those who have lost him.
