It is with sadness that our beloved Kathy had been called up as God's newest Angel after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born on June 3, 1957 in Concord Ca to George and Helen Granter. Kathy attended Clayton Valley High School and graduated in 1975. It is there that she met and married the love of her life Jim Brophy. They were married July 16, 1977 in spent many years in Concord before moving up to Vacaville 15 years ago to be closer to her parents who were living in Leasure Town. They welcomed their son JJ on May 29, 1980 and he has been their heart and soul over the years. They have been able to take many family vacations and had many adventures over the years. For those that have been blessed to be a part of Kathy's life, you could not have asked for a better friend. Her devotion to her family and Church has always been her main priority and goal in life.

On July 24, 2026 Kathy was called home to be with the Lord and become his newest Angel in heaven. She leaves behind her devoted husband Jim Brophy and son JJ of Vacaville California.

A Funeral Service will be held for Kathryn Brophy on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 10:00 A.M., at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home; 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, California.

A Graveside Service to follow on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 11:30 A.M., at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville, California.
