Kenneth H. Martin, beloved husband, dad, Papa, and "Papa K" passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 81 from Covid19/Parkinsons Disease.

Born October 8, 1939 in Sparta, Wisconsin, he was raised on a farm in North Dakota by his mother Ann and dad, Neuman Berseth.

In 1961, he married his sweetheart and best friend, Barbara Meyer, his wife of 60 years. After graduating from Moorhead State University with a bachelor's degree they moved to California.

They raised two beautiful daughters. Tammy  Muehsam (Jay) and Lisa McCormack (Michael). He left his family many special memories. His 6 grandkids, Sarah Woods (Mike), Jennifer Center (Roy), Michael Muehsam (Whitney), Shalynn Flaherty (Drew), Corey McCormack (Kendra) and Taylor McCormack called him Papa. His 9 great grandkids, Daisy, Joshua, Paisley, twins Chance and Chase, Madison, Nathan, Riley and Liam called him Papa K. Ken is also survived by two brothers Burdean Berseth (Holly) and John Barden (Nancy) and many special nephews and nieces. They all will miss him a lot.

Ken touched so many people with his generosity, caring and kindness. He retired in 2004 from Alpine Cabinets. In his spare time, he made many different wood projects for his family, friends and even for some people he hardly knew. He played the guitar and sang Karaoke, he loved his music. He made music tapes and movies for special occasions. He loved to cook, made the best pie crust, fudge, popcorn balls, hamburger pizza and biscuits and gravy.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents Ann and Neuman Berseth, sister Shirley, brother-in-law Ron Forness and great grandbaby Dylan Matthew Woods.

God, please hold him in your perfect love forever. We love you and miss you very much.
