A celebration of life for LaVaughn Overcamp, 86 of Fairfield, will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 27, 2017 at The Journey (Valley View Baptist Church) 5435 San Pablo Dam Road in El Sobrante.

LaVaughn passed away peacefully on August 17 ^th surrounded by family at her home. She was born in Oklahoma on November 26, 1930 to Hugh and Katie Priest.

She was a long-time cosmetologist with a large clientele. She owned her own salon, "The Hair Factory."

LaVaughn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. She lived a happy life and could do about everything she put her mind to. LaVaughn was an interior designer at heart and very creative. She will truly be missed.

She is survived by her son, Greg Overcamp; daughters, Cindra Rayburn (Donnie), Stacy Overcamp and Kelly Overcamp; grandchildren, Alex Ehler and Dawn Pebley; lifelong friend, Sharon Bacinett and goddaughter, Stephanie Coleman.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Overcamp, daughter, Kathy Siri and parents, Hugh and Katie Priest.
