We are sorry to announce the passing of Lenore Lois Ograin, age 94, on July 5, 2024 in Vacaville, CA.  Lenore was born in Los Angeles on February 1, 1930 to Lynn and Margaret Sanborn.  Lenore had three older sisters and one younger brother.  All had gone before her to our good Lord.  Lenore grew up on a chicken ranch in Los Angeles and had fond memories of 4-H.

She was married to Richard "Dick" Ograin (RIP) on January 21, 1956 in Los Angeles, where they raised their young family.  After a few moves they settled in Fountain Valley, CA until the kids had graduated from High School. Then in semi-retirement they moved to Woodinville, WA and became very active at the Woodinville Alliance Church. Lenore loved to converse, play games, and garden. She was a friend to everyone and was loved by all. We mean this in the truest sense of the word. She was genuinely joyful and giving.  Her hugs were plentiful and sincere.
Lenore is survived by her children, Lynda, Scott, and Julie, along with her 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grand children.

Private gatherings will be held in Vacaville, CA and Woodinville, WA.
