Margaret Mary (McLaughlin) Teer May 5, 1940 - March 9, 2018 Vacaville Margaret passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Friday, March 9. She was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She began dancing at the age of 6, and became an Irish National Dance Champion. She came to Vacaville in 1972, with three children in tow, to join her husband Bill, who had come earlier to make a home ready for them all. She was very proud that she learned to drive here! She held jobs at the Nut Tree, Emporium Capwell, West America Bank, and Travis Credit Union. She was also an H & R Block certified tax preparer and a volunteer dispatcher for Faith in Action. Margaret had a strong faith, and she took much comfort in her church, as well as the many prayer cards, candles, and saints' medallions she had. Margaret leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Bill; her brother, Brendan (Rosaleen); her children and their spouses, Lorraine (Paul), Paula (Scott), and Steve (Jill). She also leaves grandchildren, Krissi (Brenden), Dani (Mike), Brian and Nicole, and two great-grandchildren, Ian and Liam. She joins her parents, Thomas and Margaret; brothers, Thomas and Vincent, and grandson, Kevin. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, at Vaca Hills Chapel, 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville. Interment will be at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery afterwards. A reception will follow in the Stars Recreation Center Banquet Room, 155 Browns Valley Parkway in Vacaville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's name will be treasured and appreciated
