Mari Louise Hayward, born June 23rd, 1961, passed away on February 20th, 2024, in Vacaville, Ca. Mari was preceded in death by her parents, William and Shirley Hayward of Muskegon, MI. Mari is survived by her life partner, John Beukelman; best friends Stefanie and Lori; 2 sisters, brothers, and sisters-in-law; various nieces and nephews; and many friends and people who were dear to her. Mari was born, grew up, and was educated in Muskegon, MI, before moving to Miami, FL, after completing High School. Mari was an integral part of the new MCI Long Distance Network in Florida. Mari transferred to California with MCI in the mid-90s, where she settled in Vacaville and lived for 30 years until her passing. Mari loved animals and saw the need for a specialty pet care and transportation business. Her company, Precious Time Custom Pet Care and Precious Cargo Pet Taxi, served many pets and the people who loved them for over ten years. Mari is missed by many. She was known for always smiling, being a loving, inspirational woman with a positive attitude, and never giving up. Mari, indeed, was a bright spot for everyone. Mari was our sunshine, and we will miss her greatly
