Our Queen, Marietta D. Campbell also known as Mely, age 92, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family in Vallejo, CA on August 3, 2020 at 1:15pm. She was born February 1, 1928 in Botolan, Zambales, Philippines.

Marietta moved to San Francisco, CA where her and her beloved husband Harlan D. Campbell Sr. laid their roots and eventually move to Vallejo, CA where they raised their 6 children. She enjoyed gambling, whether it be with her friends or family, but most of all she loved being surrounded by family. She worked at Hill Haven and retired after 30 years as a head cook.

She comes from a family of 10 siblings. She is survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her children: Shirley Bautista; Douglas Campbell Jr. (Rhoda), Franklin Campbell, John Campbell (Monika), Leona Rodriguez (Jerry) and Rick Campbell; Grandchildren, Michelle, Desirae, Juanita, Leona, Travis, Ashlee, Jasmine, Tony, Dominic, and Jesse; Five great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.

A Graveside Service for Marietta will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at All Souls Catholic Cemetery 550 Glen Cove Road in Vallejo.
