On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Marisela Berumen-our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister-went to her beautiful place in heaven with our Lord while she was surrounded by her loved ones. Marisela was born on November 26, 1961, was raised in Vacaville, CA, and attended Vaca High and Solano College. Marisela loved her family, the Church, and was a very creative and artistic soul. Her favorite pastimes included drawing, singing, dancing, and family gatherings. She enjoyed spending time with her children and going on scenic drives to lakes and the ocean on their "adventure days." Marisela is survived by her three children, Felipe Lopez, Angelica Lopez, Sophia Lopez-Orme (Justin), and her three granchildren, Nicholas, Eliana, and Ava. Services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home from 5pm-8pm with Rosary to follow at 7pm. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday, February 9 at 9:30am. Interment will follow at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
