Mary Smith, 78, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 6, 2022, in Vacaville after a short illness.

Mary entered into this world on July 26, 1943 in Weymouth, Massachusetts , the oldest of three children born to Donald and Marjorie Swart. She married Bert Smith on Nov 19, 1961, and their vows were sealed in the Oakland Temple on September 27, 1997.  Albert and Mary celebrated their 50th Golden wedding anniversary in 2011.

Mary was very active in the LDS church. She loved to sing, read, do crossword puzzles, drink sodas and eat chocolate. She was also very interested in genealogy.

Mary is preceded in death by Albert Smith, Barbra Shaw and Joseph Smith Jr., she is survived by her three children and their spouses, Sandy and David Robbins, Joe and Kelly Smith, Peggy and Abe Ramos; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one sibling.

Services are on, January 15, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 311 Alamo Dr. Vacaville, CA 95688. Burial will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon at a later date.
