Merle was a proud United States Air Force Vet. He loved spending time with his great grandchildren everyday and watching them play sports, fishing, camping, working on his 1943 willies Jeep, planes, trains, his dog(Barbara), and loved working on anything he could get his hands on. He was a workaholic who worked until 2019 when he was 86, where he loved to tell the young workers what to do or how they did something wrong.
Proceeds in death by his Wife Barbara and two sons Brian and Patrick.
He is survived by his Son Mike(Carmen) Cory, Daughter Michelle(Sean) Norman, Son Todd(Donna) Cory, and Daughter in Law Colleen Norman. Grandchildren, Nicolette(Jason) Johnston, Evan(Jennifer) Cory, Jeremy Norman, Garrett Cory, Justin(Kayla) Cory, Jennifer(James) Makin, Becky Cory, Leanne Cory, Janelle(Anthony) Ivanich, Ashten(Chris) Oros, and Brendan Cory. Great Grandchildren, Bailey, Austin, Landon, Little Austin, Kaylee, Preston, Maecy, Kennedee, Logan, Patrick, Dakota, Justine, Jordan, Ella, Pierce, Allie, Jayden, and Andrew.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11am at Vaca Hills Chapel. 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, Ca 95687. Followed by a memorial at 1pm at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Ca 95620.
