Michael W. Schenck, 84, of Lincoln, CA peacefully passed away at home December 1, 2021.

Mike was born April 19, 1937 to Dorothy and William Schenck in Glendale, CA. He spent his formative years in Visalia, where he met his first wife of 40 years, Anna (deceased), and they had 4 kids, Wes, Theresa (Tess), Mary, and Jeri.

He joined the US Navy and served 20 years in the Silent Service (submarines). An electrician by trade, he also aided the Chaplain with counseling his shipmates. He went on to become one of the youngest Chiefs in his field. He served most of his time stationed in Hawaii. Once retiring from the Navy, he continued his career at Mare Island until its closure. He later found himself working with his son, Wes, assembling maritime satellite communication antennas.

Mike was active with the Scouts, the Catholic Church, stained glass, painting, traveling, camping, and of course his 4 kids. He enjoyed gatherings with his family, friends, and colleagues. Mike was always ready to host a BBQ-Swim party. He loved going on adventures and exploring California.

Mike's sense of adventure and travel led him to meet Yvonne with whom he had 15 wonderful years of marriage. She instilled in him the love of cruise ships and they went cruising as often as they could. He was quick to get involved with her love of dance and performing; where he was her "sound and lights" guy. They were inseparable.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Anna and granddaughter Samantha.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne, his brother Steve, his children: Wes (Laura), Tess (Tod), Mary (Tim), and Jeri (Jim); his grandkids: Keegan (Patty), Morgan (Yesenia), Megan (James), Ethan, Charlotte, and Madeline. Mike is also survived by Yvonne's children: Terri, her 2 children; Samantha and Tim, and Cindy (Pat) and their daughter Emily; with a host of four-legged grandkids.

Mike was a friend to everyone, a proud Veteran of the USN, loyal loving husband, and father. He made sure to teach his kids how to survive, succeed, and thrive in life. He will live eternally in our hearts and will be missed every day.
