Morris Leon LeBard was born in Napa, California on December 15, 1941. He grew up in Vallejo, Ca, where he attended Vallejo school and eventually Solano College focusing on Accounting courses.

In school, he was the first boy to take a cooking class and made the newspaper for it. Cooking was something he really enjoyed doing; he loved to invite family and friends for get-togethers and cook enough food to feed an army! He showed his love for you through his food.

He started his career at Standard Oil in an office setting using his accounting skills. He quickly found that the politics of an office setting was not for him. He reached out to his father who was a plumber and asked to get into the union.

He started with the plumbers union as a plumber apprentice, later transitioning to a general contractor and started his own company. He ran and operated the construction company along side his wife Allison for over 55 years. Over those years they owned and managed countless properties, built custom homes, additions, remodels, hair salons, restaurants, dental offices, and much more! He did every job with a commitment to do everything to make the customer happy. He poured all of him into his work. It was truly a family business, he put everyone to work! His wife, his daughters, almost all his grandsons worked for him, son-in-laws, and countless other people that he gave a break to that needed a job. He had a huge heart for helping people. In the midst of that business, they partnered on a bar which they ran for several years.

He enjoyed coin collecting, a hobby he had since a child, he was a huge Elvis fan, and he loved the USA!

Most of all he did everything for Allison, family, and friends. He cared for Allison at home until her passing. For his grandkids, he loved to give money for everything from good grades, college, or whatever was needed. Giving money was his way of showing his love. He always wanted to help. He was frugal with his own material things, never the flashy type, but would give the shirt off his back to help someone he cared about.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Allison "Dolly" LeBard, his sister, Patricia Shoemaker, and his parents, Roy Elmer LeBard and Hope Elizabeth Dills.

He leaves behind his daughter's Lisa LeBard-Graham (Jason), Shawn LeBard Bliton (Steve), and Denise Johnson (Derrick); and his beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Sherrie, Matthew, Stevie, Serena, Trey, Marcus, Charles, Derrick Jr., Josh, Bryana, and Felicity. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren William, Gregg, Isaiah, Leona, Sofia, Hayden, Luciana, Noah, Isaiah, Kamila, Peyton, Bryson, Jerian, Messiah, and Kaiani. Morris's legacy lives on through each generation he helped shape with love, generosity, dedication, and work ethic.
