Nancy Cecilia Guest, 90, passed away on July 14, 2022. She was born on January 28, 1932, in Columbus, Ohio to Paul C. Linder, Sr. and Ruth Pauline (Williams) Linder.

Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and community volunteer. She provided integral support to her husband, Ralph, throughout his 24-year U.S. Navy career, followed by his 22 years with U.S. Customs, as well as raising their six wonderful children. She also enjoyed her nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and the many beloved family dogs and cats.

She delighted in being an "urban farmer" out on the Guest "ranchette" in English Hills. She oversaw raising horses, goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and various other critters. She was active at St. Mary's Catholic Church for 50 years. Over the years, she taught Sunday School (CCD), was a member of the Women's Club, and volunteered at the Food Locker. She was a lifelong artist. From poetry, drawing, and painting, Nancy had a talent for the arts. She loved combining poems with collages in creating custom cards on her beloved computer, that she then enjoyed sending out to family and friends.

Nancy was supportive of her children's activities whether it be paper routes, riding lessons, horse shows, dance, and gymnastics. She was a 4-H leader, Girl Scout leader, was active in Pony Club, a youth recreational riding organization, and she raised eight puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Her most rewarding volunteer work was the 17 years she spent volunteering for the Horseplay Therapeutic Riding Center, a program for disabled children and young adults.

She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Ruth Linder, her husband of 53 years, Ralph W. Guest, her son Thomas M. Guest, her brother Paul C. Linder, Jr., her son-in-law Anthony (Tony) Garcia and her step-grandson Josh Killinger.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Kathryn S. Killinger (Tony) of Inyokern, CA, granddaughter Darcy Topper (Desi); son James W. Guest (Beth) of Gouldsboro, ME, grandson Jason Guest (Jenna) , great-granddaughters Danielle, Isabelle, Lilac, and Noelle; granddaughter Lisa Tyler (Geoff) , great-granddaughter Isla; daughter Janet A. Garcia, of Vacaville, CA, granddaughter Sally Hausler (Tom) great-granddaughters Claire and Chloe; grandson Vincent Garcia; daughter Jean T. Barchers (Mike) of North Richland Hills, TX, granddaughter Kelli Couch, great-granddaughter Audralyn; daughter Karen L. Mraz (Chris) of Vacaville, CA, grandsons Mark and Scott Mraz and granddaughter Megan Mraz.

Public visitation will be held on August 3, 2022, from 5-8 pm at Vaca Hills Chapel, 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA. A Funeral Mass will be held on August 4, 2022, at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 350 Stinson, Avenue, Vacaville, CA. Interment will follow the service at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA. There will be a reception at St. Mary's Church Hall following the internment.
